I Illustrated We Pray! a children’s illustrative guide on how to pray. It uses simple and age appropriate examples to show children what they can pray about and when to pray.

I Illustrated We Pray! a children’s illustrative guide on how to pray. It uses simple and age appropriate examples to show children what they can pray about and when to pray. This job helped me develop real world experience working with a client and developing a published piece of literary work. I was able to illustrate a continuous story while maintaining aesthetic integrity throughout various illustrations.
CHALLENGE
Being able to illustrate a story, and still attain the same aesthetic and narrative throughout. This was also my first project illustrating a series of images for a client.
PROCESS
Throughout the entire process I created images based on the text and a conversation that I had with the offer. Over the span of a little over a month I created drafts of images, and we discussed what was working, what wasn’t and continued the process until the book was finished.
